Crafting Armour and Weapons
It would be nice if our char can actually craft armour and then sell it or use on another char.It would say customised by instead of for.
This could be for weapons as well and to add an inscription npc and make Proph. and Factions come with noninscribed.
This would bring a little bit of crafting to GW which lacks and may give something to do.

But you can already craft weapons and then give them to another character.

Other games are allowed to have a crafting system for anything, but anet's developers said they had their focus on crafters doing the job for you... I don't know if it's laziness or blatant stupidity on their part because they knew exactly the type of market they made this game for.

It wouldn't work that way as you would need to be lvl 20 in order to wear it.It woudl also give players somethingto do and make money another way instead of just farming.
I would like to craft the ame type of weapons I have unlocked but there is no inscription npc.

A.net focused this game on combat rather then having us mine, chop wood, or fish for supplies for crafting.
GW1 just isn't the game for this.

Certainly for GW this isn't a good idea. I've always loved the idea that my character was always doing something "important". I'd love to see this sort of logic applied to something like Lord of the Rings.
The nine of the Fellowship set off to destroy the one ring, that will save Middle Earth from destruction. Suddenly, Gimli runs off.
What are you doing?
Sorry, I just saw a tin vein, I need to mine it.
Dude, we're on an important mission here.
Well, Gandalf is always stopping to pick plants. And Aragorn is always skinning his damned animals. You just don't get it cause you're not a dwarf.
But what does the ring bearer think?
Frodo? While we were mining, skinning and collecting plants, the Nazgul got him.
Damn...oh, cool, look, a copper vein!
/notsigned because if I wanted to play WoW, I'd play it.

/notsigned.
The system that we have now is fine and has no issue that would make this reasonable. Besides, getting to where you want to craft the super cool armor set you've been waiting for is one of the best bits of PvE imo. Removing motivation is a bad thing.

I bet most would like to buy a set of crafted armour if their account got hacked and eveything was deleted. You really want to take the time to gather all the mats together to get the sets you have now.You could also sell your old armour off to lower lvl player.Players have been known to delete char and regret it later.
I wonder why Droks is ghost town everytime I am there only a few are on.
